Amsterdam was the first major city where we hosted an Indie in Town event in 2017. We’ve promoted shows at Skatecafe, Sexyland, Nieuwe Anita, Kriterion, Noorderlicht and SugarFactory. Artists that played Indie in Town include:
Talk Show (UK), Elephant, Banji, Wodan Boys, Hiqpy, Future Husband, Flip Top Head (UK), Tummyache (UK), Queens Pleasure, Parker Fans, Marathon, Housepainters, Min Taka, The Homesick, POM & many more.

Marieke Hulzinga and Jelle Schotanus started promoting shows in London in 2023. They’ve promoted over ten shows in venues like Shacklewell Arms, Old Blue Last, Sebright Arms, The Victoria and Two Palms.
In collaboration with Dutch Music Export they help Dutch bands to play their first shows in London so they can build their audience and professional network. Dutch bands that played Indie in Town London include Mazey Haze, Jespfur, Elephant, Wolf & Moon, Neomi, Future Husband, Queens Pleasure and Honey I’m Home.

Maia Luquer started promoting Indie in Town Berlin in 2026, and has been promoting shows in the city since 2024.
Our goal is to bring together local and touring indie and alternative artists, creating lineups where bands and audiences can discover something new, while helping artists play in Amsterdam, London and Berlin so they can start building an international career.
